Today we would love to share with you a little bit more about Jiminy Wickit, so you can get to know the person behind the products you love so much!
Rachel is the maker behind our lovely scented candles. She is a one woman band and does EVERYTHING herself from the making, to the marketing, to developing the website. Now we think that’s pretty rad, don’t you?!
We’re a huge fan of Jiminy Wicket candles because everything smells INCREDIBLE! A gingerbread candle that smells good enough to eat? Yes please! A Christmas tree candle that instantly evokes feelings of sipping on hot mulled wine while you toast your tootsies by the fire? Hell yeah! And their candles are vegan and plastic free to boot! They come in glass containers which can be recycled or reused. And if that wasn’t enough, all of their ingredients and materials are ethically and sustainably sourced. Now that’s what we like to hear!
Here’s what Rachel has to say about the start of her business:
“I used to love buying scented candles but found myself getting increasingly disappointed when they failed to really fill a room with fragrance. Upon creating my own, I realised I preferred them to high-street offerings and really wanted to share them with as many people as possible.”
“I want to create things that make people happy; cosy candles for Sunday evenings, scents that bring back the most lovely memories and beautiful gifts for beautiful souls. I want to create things that at least give a little sense of calm to whoever receives them and I really hope you enjoy my creations.”
